100 Used Eyeglasses Donated to Lions’ Recycle For Sight by Carter MacLean

Carter_Website

On October 26th 2013, a Grade 7 school boy by the name of Carter MacLean donated about 100 used eyeglasses to Toronto Suomi Lions Club, after having done an online search of used eyeglasses recycling, and found out that the club can help get it done.

He has been collecting used eyeglasses since grade 5 at Upper Canada College. Lion President Charlie Wang has also left him with an official LCI Recycle For Sight collection box, which he happily accepted and agreed to see if it could be possible to start the LCI Recycle For Sight project in his school. What a remarkable young man!
