Dear fellow lions, families and friends,
It is nice that we are having a hot summer this year. So we better keep an eye on the days that we must make the most out of it!
Feel free to post pictures or write some texts to our Facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/torontosuomilions
to let us know you are enjoying your life this summer time, before getting ready for the next wonderful Lions year 2018-2019 in September.
On June 18, Toronto Suomi Lions Club made a $1000 donation to Toronto Finnish Canadian Seniors Centre, as its long-term tradition.
Lion Kauko Leppala (right) representing TSLA presented the cheque to Juha Myntinnen (left), Executive Director of Suomi Koti.
Thank you to all of the Lions who came out to show their support to me and my family after Lion Aimo’s passing. Aimo thoroughly enjoyed being a member of the Toronto Suomi Lion’s Club, and he made many friends along the way. The honour guard by the Lions at the end of the service was very touching and greatly appreciated by the family.
Many thanks,
Lion Eeva & family
