Lion Mauno Jack Kojola, was awarded a 50-year pin of service and a golden watch by the Electrical Workers Local Union 353 in Toronto on Apr 19, 2017.
Lion Jack joined the International brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 353 in the 1950s. He started as an electrical apprentice and worked towards his masters electricians license. Later in the 1980s started his own electrical contracting business. Today he is still a member of the union 353.
We are proud to congratulate our member Lion Burt Rairamo, who just published his first book: a novel of fiction, which is available as printed copy in store, online at iTunes, Play Store, and Kindle.

Lions Fashion Show at District A711 Convention 2017! Can you tell representing which country these lions are wearing? And who are these lions, from which clubs?
Through building the robot and participate in the FIRST ROBOTICS COMPETITION in Canada and US, Team R3P2 Riverdale Raiders Robotics, students from Riverdale Collegiate Institute, not only build their knowledge and skills, but also strengthen their social connections with people and local community.
Toronto Suomi Lions Club, a proud sponsor of Team R3P2 since 2015-2016, is pleased to welcome, entertain, and interact with them on March 13, 2017, when a presentation and live demo of the robot is given.
